Thursday, 12 March 2026, Le Mouton Noir welcomes ‘De La Mancha’ for an intimate concert!
Wandering musicians armed with a guitar and a banjo, Gabrielo ‘el pequeño’ and Simone ‘el gran dadet’ take you on a journey through their compositions to the distant lands of flamenco rumba, Réunion sega and Peruvian waltzes, via good old musette.
Songs to dance, laugh or cry to.
‘Pinpon’, De La Mancha's first album, is both funny and serious, because ‘it's too sad to be alive if you can't even laugh anymore’.
With a percussive guitar, a virtuoso banjo and two voices that blend beautifully, De La Mancha's sound makes you want to waltz around the room!
The 12 songs, most of which were written by the two of them, reveal a dense but lively and spontaneous style of writing.
Simon Demouveaux is a guitarist in various world music projects (BonBaz, Laka, etc.).
Gabriel Devilleneuve is a singer-songwriter in French (La Goutte, Les Obsédés du Monde, etc.) with a sharp pen and poetic metaphors.
De La Mancha was officially formed in 2018, with a repertoire of several original compositions and covers. The duo created its identity with the fundamental desire to make people dance and to emphasise rhythm and celebration.
