Our Story

Founded in the fifth century by monks from Lérins, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie developed around its Romanesque church and the Adou torrent, whose water has long supplied mills and workshops. Famous for its handcrafted earthenware since the seventeenth century, the village combines heritage, know-how and nature. Nestled between cliffs and lavender, it is an ideal gateway to the Gorges du Verdon and the lake of Sainte-Croix.
