Estello Festival #2!

A festive day with lots of activities for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest: demonstrations and introductions in a friendly atmosphere!

On the programme for your festive day:

* 100% female parade to the sounds of Brazil

=> with Brunet's BATUCADA TIMBAWA

=> where? => in the heart of the historic centre

=> times? => 2 performances in the morning and 2 in the afternoon (details to follow)

and an introductory percussion workshop open to all (details to follow)

* Introductory workshops on oil pastel techniques:

=> led by the LA VIE EN COULEUR workshop in Chaffaut-St-Jurson

Open to all, materials provided, and everyone leaves with their own masterpiece!

* Inflatable structures to let off steam and challenge yourself:

Giant football target, archery and pirate boat with obstacles, punching ball and slide

* Board games for ages 7 to 107:

=> hosted by the travelling games library LUDOBROUSSE from Revest-des-Brousses

* Workshop: ‘Music in all its forms’:

=> led by SEBASTIEN CARRETIER, music teacher in Moustiers-Ste-Marie.

An introduction to music in all its forms, educational and fun for the whole family!

=> Where? => PLACE CLÉRISSY

=> Times? => 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In detail:

–> 10am-11am: Making instruments from recycled objects: design and make your own unique instrument (maracas, kazoo, castanets, or other percussion instruments) with Sébastien's help, decorate it and play it to impress your parents!

–> 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Musical creation using everyday objects, but not only! Using:

• Instruments made on site,

• Used pots and pans of various sizes, struck with a pair of chopsticks.

• Different PVC pipes, of varying widths, struck at their tops with a

table tennis bat,

• Metal barrels (like ‘Tambours du Bronx’ drums)

Learn to master various ways of playing these percussion instruments and use them according to your

creativity to compose your own works.

–> 2pm-3pm: ‘Blow!’: Journey into the world of wind instruments: children and adults can discover, try out and learn the basic techniques for playing instruments such as the saxophone, clarinet, recorder, etc.

–> 3pm-4pm: Music quiz!

Discover various musical genres during this captivating experience.

Are you ready to take on the challenge of this musical tournament?

A game for two people or two teams.

The squares on the checkerboard on the ground will be used as areas for cards that will be turned over to reveal images of famous artists, musical instruments, various questions about different musical genres, and more.

The participant who answers the most questions correctly will be declared the winner!

* Martial arts demonstrations & introductory sessions

Vovinam, budo, tai chi, self-defence, introductory weapon training, cardio-fight, etc.

* Golf demonstrations and introductory sessions

Inflatable golf stand to introduce everyone to this sport

* Wooden games: 25 suggestions!

Skill, logic, dexterity, fun & laughter!

* Balloon sculptures & creative workshops on the theme of the Estello Star

=> hosted by PATRICK'ATRAK from Chaffaut-St-Jurson

* Skateboarding demonstrations and introductory sessions

=> hosted by ALOHA SKATEBOARD CLUB in Sisteron
