Hôtel La Bastide de Moustiers

La Bastide de Moustiers is a charming building in the heart of the Alpes de Haute Provence. Formerly owned by a master potter, it enjoys a magnificent view of the ‘cliff’ of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. The main body of the building has been restored with the help of local craftsmen. Alain Ducasse asked Tonia Peyrot, a friend who is an interior designer, to give this residence that little extra soul that makes it so endearing.

Alain Ducasse wanted his inn to be warm and welcoming, and for every guest to feel at home. Driven by a sincere desire to please and share his passion for the region, he personally invested in its design and thought of the little details that make a family home so charming: objects he found himself, picnic baskets for walks, bicycles for exploring the region…

Alain Ducasse has entrusted his close colleague Sarah Chailan with ensuring your happiness and well-being during your stay, assisted in the dining room by Mathieu Bloyet and his team. Alain Ducasse has entrusted the kitchen to Valentin Fuchs, whose mission is to create cuisine that is as close to nature as possible. The result is as delicious as it is vigorous. An intimate and refined retreat, La Bastide can be privatised for birthday celebrations, intimate weddings or professional meetings. This charming building offers everyone the atmosphere they desire: the tranquillity needed for a business meal, the conviviality of a friendly lunch or the intimacy of a romantic dinner.
