On Saturday, 4 April 2026, Le Mouton Noir welcomes Louise O'Sman for an intimate concert!

In detail

Louise put on her first braces at the age of six, happily discovering the first musical sounds her instrument had to offer: the accordion. Although she received classical training, she quickly became interested in world music (Argentina, Eastern Europe), explored the local regional repertoire and grew up in the world of French-language song.

She moved to Marseille, where she completed a second Master's degree in research on new European and Mediterranean art spaces, and joined the group ‘Misère et Cordes’. It was there that she experimented with original composition and took to the stage for the first time.

Her first original project was launched under the name ‘No Man's Louise’, combining musical compositions and poetry.

After a first EP, ‘Les Enfants de la Plaine’, and numerous concerts in Marseille, Provence, then Paris, Toulouse, Lyon, etc.

Louise won the Médaille d'Or de la Chanson in Saignelégier in April 2018. Following her selection for the Chanson de Parole springboard as part of Festiv' en Marche, the duo ‘No Man's Louise’ evolved into her solo alter ego under the name ‘Louise O'sman’.

Her debut album, Joyeuse Ville, was released in 2018 on the Homerecords label in Belgium.

This was followed by a long tour throughout France, a staged show that received praise and awards.

In 2023, Louise O'sman signed an artist contract with the Neomme label to produce a new album, L'Heure d'Eté, due for release at the end of March 2024.
