On Saturday, 29 August 2026, Le Mouton Noir welcomes Matt Low for an intimate concert!
What the press says:
There are voices that seduce you, envelop you, reassure you.
Matt Low releases his second album after the formidable ‘La ruée vers l'or’ (The Gold Rush) and ‘Une vie cool est drôlement bath’ (A Cool Life is Really Great).
Given the anxiety-inducing times we live in, where it's every man for himself, ‘Une vie cool’ could be seen as a provocative title. But that's not the case. With his pale face, Matthieu Lopez, alias Matt Low, bassist with Elysian Fields, continues his conquest of the West between Auvergne and the Appalachians.
This album is about life flowing, life passing by, ultimately adult life. So, to find meaning, Matt Low writes songs and invites a dream team to join him, including Yann Clavaizolle, Jamie Pope, Benjamin Tessier, Guillaume Bongiraud, Olivier Perez, Suzy Borello, Sylvain Dechet, Andrew Sudhibhasilp, Louise Courtial and Morgane Imbeaud (it's crazy!!).
From the very first listen, you are overcome with a feeling of serenity, tranquillity and security.
