PINKTONE revisits the great pop classics from the 1970s to the present day, infusing them with an elegant and resolutely contemporary soul-jazz touch !

In detail

PINKTONE ‘Sweet Jazz-Pop’ was formed in early 2025 in Toulouse.

PINKTONE is the result of a musical encounter between Stéphanie Dumouch, a singer with an expressive and nuanced voice, and Cyril Salvagnac, a guitarist renowned for his subtle and inventive playing.

This close-knit duo is joined by Laurent Meyer on drums and Fabrice Camboulive on double bass, forming a rhythm section that is both solid and sensitive.

The group revisits the great pop classics from the 1970s to the present day, infusing them with an elegant and resolutely contemporary soul-jazz touch.

Each track becomes an original reinterpretation, carried by refined arrangements, daring harmonic pirouettes and an irresistible sense of groove.

We rediscover iconic songs with emotion, transformed with precision, without ever betraying their essence.

By skilfully blending the freedom of jazz, the energy of pop and the warmth of acoustic sounds, PINKTONE will surprise you and touch your heart.

Line-up:

Stéphanie Dumouch: a professional singer for over 20 years, Stéphanie has made her mark on stage after stage, carried by a voice that is sensitive, intense and versatile. She has sung in big bands, salsa groups, jazz, pop and French chanson projects, with over 1,500 concerts in France and abroad. Each musical project has nourished her artistic universe and strengthened her ability to adapt to a variety of styles, while bringing her own vocal signature to each one. With PINKTONE, she rediscovers what inspires her most: the freedom of live performance, the pleasure of reinterpretation, and playing with nuances and colours. The result is lively, moving, creative and revisited music. Alongside her stage career, Stéphanie founded the Vocal Technique Institute in Toulouse, a school that trains both singers and singing teachers. In January 2025, she founded the PINKTONE project with guitarist Cyril Salvagnac.

Cyril Salvagnac: he has been teaching himself to play the guitar since the age of 9, and plays and composes for several jazz-influenced bands. Since 2006, he has also been writing music for musicals and audiovisual shows (Casting de Rennes, ‘Histoire d'Oc’ in Foix, mapping in Saint-Sernin Toulouse, New Orleans, South Korea, etc.). In 1998, he fell in love with gypsy jazz, which is omnipresent in his playing. Since that same year, he has been playing and composing for the group Mystère Trio, with whom he has performed more than 1,300 concerts in France and abroad. He also wrote several tracks on the album ‘Au début’ by the contemporary jazz group Tiptoe Combo, released in November 2017. He arranges covers for the group Les Accordés Swing. In all these projects, he shares the stage with Fabrice Camboulive on double bass and Laurent Meyer on drums. In January 2025, with the PINKTONE project, he began a new collaboration with Stéphanie Dumouch.

Fabrice Camboulive: bassist and double bassist, he completed his professional training at the Music'Halle school in Toulouse and then played with the funk band Ketzaco, performing numerous concerts throughout France. He composed the music for several plays between 2005 and 2007, with performances at the Gaîté Montparnasse and the Clavel theatre in Paris. From 2005 onwards, he joined several musical projects: the Jazz Silicious Big Band, the pop-swing group Anagallis, and the poetic-musical project Soir de grand vent by the Compagnie des temps venus. In 2015, he joined the group Mystère Trio 4tet with Cyril Salvagnac, Laurent Meyer, and Renaud Richermo, and created the music for several shows by the theatre company ZART. Since then, he has also played with the group Meajam, a creative jazz project by pianist Xavier Faro, with two albums: ‘L'envol’ in 2019 and ‘Utopia’, recorded in May 2024. In March 2025, he joined the PINKTONE project.

Laurent Meyer: After graduating with a first prize in drumming from the Agostini School in Toulouse in 1998, Laurent Meyer has been playing in various jazz, swing and chanson groups. He has been developing his skills as a drummer and percussionist with the Mystère Trio for over 25 years (more than 1,300 concerts around the world, from South America to New Caledonia, Europe and Quebec), alongside Cyril Salvagnac on guitar and Fabrice Camboulive on double bass. Together, they have played in several swing and Latin bands: Anagallis, Soary Quartet, Tiptoe Combo and currently Les Accordés Swing. He also plays in pianist Xavier Faro's contemporary jazz band Meajam, with two albums, ‘L'envol’ in 2019 and ‘Utopia’ recorded in May 2024. Since March 2025, on drums and percussion, he has been grooving with the PINKTONE project!
