Tibert in concert at the Mouton Noir

A tireless globetrotter, Tibert returns from his travels with ‘Tranche Désir’, a brand new album. Eleven tracks, eleven inspired songs.

They deal with friendship, landscapes, human and romantic encounters, battles lost and others yet to be fought. Never complex and yet always poetic, his writing has the flavour of the worlds we dream of and the strength of those we inhabit.

Accompanied on stage by Denis Favrichon, his long-time collaborator, a formidable musician and luthier, the music is equally impressive, both familiar thanks to the prominence given to melodies and vocals, and surprising thanks to the sounds of the cellobasse (an instrument similar to the cello created by Denis Favrichon).

A real sense of freedom emerges: instrumental parts reinvented at each concert, moments of grace in the harmonies, the percussive energy of nervous riffs. It is a concert for two voices in the service of a unique universe.
