Verdon Coutellerie

My name is Mikaël Trocherie, and I am a creative knifemaker who graduated from the Thiers school in 1996.

Passionate about the Verdon and cutlery, I create and manufacture original knives, including :

-The Verdon regional knife* ‘Le Verdon *’.

-The regional knife from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie* ‘Le Blacas *’.

-The Plateau de Valensole regional knife* ‘La Lavandine *’.

*Model and brand registered with the I.N.P.I.

The blades are made of 12C27 stainless steel from Sandvik or XC75 carbon steel from Bonpertuis or damascus stainless steel or damascus carbon steel.

The handles are made from Provencal or exotic wood, animal materials or synthetic materials.

In season, I attend local fairs and markets, including Friday mornings in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (04360), and Wednesday and Saturday mornings in Riez (04500).
