Getting to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie
Located at the gateway to the Gorges du Verdon, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, in the southern region. Whether you come by car, train or bus, there are several options available to you to easily access the village.

Moustiers is located approximately:
- 1h45 from Aix-en-Provence,
- 2 hours from Marseille,
- 2 hours 15 minutes from Nice.
From the A51, take exit 18 Manosque, then take the direction of Valensole, Puimoisson or exit 17 Vinon-sur-Verdon and follow the directions to Gréoux-les-Bains, Riez (D952).
By train
The nearest train stations are:
- Manosque – Gréoux-les-Bains,
- Digne-les-Bains,
- Aix-en-Provence TGV.
By bus
Regional lines serve Moustiers in season, especially from Riez, Digne or Manosque. Check the timetables and connections on the website of the South region: zou.maregionsud.fr.
- Marseille – Riez via Gréoux-les-Bains (line 67)
- Riez – Castellane via Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (line 450)
- Riez – Gréoux – Manosque (line 132)
- Nice – Digne via Castellane (line 51)

Are you a bus driver?
Access to the village centre is forbidden to buses from April to October.
Outside this period, access is limited according to the dimensions of the bus (3.60m high and 12m long). Find access to the village for coaches.

Several car parks, free or paid, allow you to park easily at the entrance to the village or near the historic centre. Remember to use the park-and-ride facilities in high season to avoid traffic in the alleys.
