What white-water activities should you choose?
Between rafting, canyoning, aquarando and pack-raft, it’s sometimes hard to choose between these supervised activities! Do you want to be on the water or in the water? That’s the first question to ask yourself!
Rafting and pack-rafting are water-based activities in which you glide through the rapids of the Verdon on inflatable boats, alone or with others.
Aquarando and canyoning are water-based activities where you’ll be fully immersed in the water. Canyoning includes technical and vertical sections, a mix of white water and climbing for guaranteed thrills. Aquarando is a mix of walking and swimming in the water of a canyon, using a buoyancy waistcoat.
Hydrospeed is a combination of nautical and aquatic activities! You hold a float between your arms and the rest of your body is in the water.
Paragliding
Looking for a breathtaking view? Treat yourself to a unique experience with a paragliding flight over Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. From the air, marvel at the spectacular beauty of the area: the village nestling against the cliffs, the deep blue of Lake Sainte-Croix, the immensity of the Gorges du Verdon stretching into the distance, and the colourful patchwork of the Valensole plateau. This flight will give you a bird’s eye view of the emblematic landscapes of Haute-Provence, between mountains, gorges and lavender fields.

Great sporting routes, adventure areas, couennes or even artificial climbs to heights of several hundred metres… The diversity of the routes and the unique atmosphere of the Gorges make it one of the most unmissable climbing sites in the world!
Also, let yourself be tempted by a via cordata route, a sort of “natural via ferrata”. Your instructor will take you through varied, mountainous terrain, with easy climbing, roped-off sections, zip-lines, an adventure for uncommon sensations.
Looking for an extraordinary experience? Spend an evening on a portaledge in the Gorges du Verdon, suspended above the void on a platform attached to the wall! Experience this unique moment in the heart of the Gorges du Verdon.

Climbing and nature in the Verdon
The Gorges du Verdon are renowned for their cliffs, which attract climbers from all over the world. This climbing paradise for all levels of climber does, however, have a few rules to observe. To avoid disturbing birds during their breeding season, particularly the vultures that nest in the Gorges, certain routes are prohibited at certain times of the year.
