Medium and long hikes

Set off on an adventure along the trails of the Verdon

In Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, hiking takes on a whole new dimension. Here, medium and long-distance hiking routes invite you to enjoy an immersive experience in the heart of unspoilt countryside. With panoramic views of the Verdon Gorges, vast lavender plateaux, steep ridges and wooded valleys, each trail tells its own story. Each step brings you closer to nature.
These hikes are for curious walkers looking to get away from it all and enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you have a few hours or a whole day, the selected routes offer a variety of moods and levels. Some itineraries take you past the region’s most emblematic sites, while others take you off the beaten track for a more intimate discovery of the Verdon.

Equip yourself, breathe and let the paths guide you. The journey begins within the first few kilometres.

Hiking maps are available from the Tourist Office or from the online shop. To explore the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon, you can download the Chemins des Parcs app or the Provence Alpes Outdoor app.
