European Heritage Days 2026

AT THE FAÏENCE MUSEUM:

– Self-guided tours & free admission at weekends from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm to 6 pm

– Free guided tours at weekends (duration: 1 hour, booking recommended, max. 20 people):

* Saturday at 9.30 am and Sunday at 2 pm: guided tours to learn all about the history of faience art in Moustiers and the decorative motifs

* Saturday at 2 pm and Sunday at 9.30 am: guided tours to learn all about the techniques used to create faience in Moustiers

IN THE VILLAGE:

19 and 20 September:

Guided tour of Moustiers and the Notre-Dame de Beauvoir chapel.

Duration: 2 hours

Departure: 10.00 am in front of the tourist office.

A gentle start in the centre of the village of Moustiers before climbing the steps leading to the Notre-Dame de Beauvoir Chapel. 262 slippery steps – suitable footwear and a good level of fitness are essential.

Booking recommended; maximum 30 people.

Created in 1984 under the name ‘Historic Monuments Open Days’ by the Ministry of Culture, European Heritage Days aim to show as many people as possible the extraordinary richness of our heritage through unique events, unusual visits and special openings.

The best way to protect heritage is to raise awareness of it and ensure that it is accessible. Every year, millions of visitors of all ages gather for European Heritage Days and cross the threshold of exceptional sites and buildings that are usually closed to the general public.
