Bike rentals in Moustiers
To rent an electric bike or just repair it, you have 2 choices : Ebike Moustiers, at the bottom of the village or Moustiers Bike Services, in Camping du Petit Lac (direction Sainte-Croix Lake).
You also have the possibility to go on a bike tour with a guide with Aquattitude in Montagnac-Montpezat. Finally, our partner Vélo Gorges du Verdon is located very close to Rougon. It offers accompanied outings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (booking required) to discover the grand canyon!

Our Tourist Office is bike friendly!
Our Tourist Office will allow you to charge your electric bike : batteries are to be borrowed during opening hours. We also can sell you several guides or consult free documentation like « Vélo Loisir Provence » booklet (the bike specialists!).
Through all these documents you will find « Le Verdon à Vélo » (french and english), « Le Tour du Verdon » and « À vélo au fil de l’eau ». With no translation, they present to you maps and circuit trails. For the more experienced riders is « 3 grandes traversées VTT », presenting long trails throughout the canyon (french only).

Indeed, the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence is the first department to be awarded the "Territoire vélo" (cycling area) label in autumn 2020.
This label, awarded by the Fédération française de cyclotourisme (FFCT), applies to the whole of our department and highlights the work carried out in favour of cycling throughout the Basses-Alpes area!
To prepare your day...
You have the possibility to do groceries in 2 of our "8 à Huit" shops : in the village center (open all year) or at the entrance (open from April to September). You can also take your time in one of our restaurants or take away a sandwich, panini… You may also like to take a break and enjoy an ice cream made from scratch with local products in the centered place of Moustiers.

⚠️ WARNING : "La Saint-Jursienne" and "Le Montdenier", present a significant distance and difference in altitude as well as
several rather demanding portions. These routes are for experienced cyclists!
&... the departure of 3 routes is not from our village of Moustiers → "La Saint-Jursienne" starts from the village of Saint-Jurs and the routes "Le Circuits de Lavandes" and "Les balcons du lac de Sainte-Croix" both start from the plateau of Valensole.
