
Parking and traffic restrictions :
⚠️ Warning : From 6pm on Friday 10 May until 10am the following day, no vehicles will be allowed to park on the Torch route or in rue de la Maladrerie. A vehicle impoundment service will remove any remaining recalcitrant vehicles, and a fine will be imposed in accordance with the municipal by-law. ⚠️
Vehicle access to the town centre will be possible until 7:30am on Saturday 11.
After this time, the Gendarmerie Nationale will block access. Only pedestrians and cyclists (provided they push their bikes) will be allowed in. From 10 a.m., once the Flame convoy has set off on its next leg, the village will once again be open to traffic and parking. The Little Train will resume its service from 10am.
How can I park ?
The village will be closed to parking and traffic from 7:30am until after the Flame has passed through, at around 10am. You can park in the stadium car park and the Maïre car park. The Magnans bas car park will also remain accessible.
Allow 15 minutes to climb up to the village.
From 10am, the following car parks in the village will be accessible (and free of charge): Historic Centre level 1 + 2, Autran, Magnas Bas, Maïre and le Stade.
The town's car parks will be free of charge on Friday 10 and Saturday 11. From 10am, all the car parks in the village will be accessible. You can consult our brochure dedicated to parking in Moustiers.
Where can I see the Torch?
The route of the Flame will start in the rue Olérys and end at the Notre-Dame-de-Beauvoir chapel, via the avenue de Lérins and the calade Tempesta. Public access zones will be set up along the route. They will be indicated by barriers.
Activities programme
9am – Departure of the Relay of the Torch via Rue Olérys
9:15am – The torch arrives at the foot of the Chapel steps
9:20am – Arrival of the last relay runner at La Chapelle (⚠️ the ascent to the chapel is closed to the public until the end of the Flame's journey)
10am – Start of the animations
1 - Church Place
Skateboard, by the association Aloha Skateboard, from Sisteron
Join us for a day dedicated to skateboarding, with introductory sessions in the morning, demonstrations by our champions from the Alpes de Haute Provence all day and a contest for all levels in the afternoon. The Church Place, set up for the occasion with skateboard modules (springboards, grind bar, spine, etc.), will be the perfect place to enjoy the festivities!
10am - 2pm: Initiations et demonstrations
2pm - 5pm : Contest "best tricks" under 16 and over 16
Breakdance, by StreetSmile
Breakdance has made it into the Paris Olympics as an additional sport! Come and see the StreetSmile dancers and their show in Moustiers!

Come and try your hand at breakdancing with the StreetSmile dancers and learn from their experience! Breakdance is being included in the Paris Olympic Games as an additional sport, and these introductory courses are open to everyone, whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer!

Hikes
The Moustier-based association Rando Évasion Verdon is offering the following 2 hikes. After passing through the Torch Relay, you can discover the Tréguier Botanical Trail together. The meeting point for these walks is in front of the Tourist Office.
The Sentier de Tréguier is 5km long, with 135m of ascent, and takes around 2:30 hours to complete.
The Les Claux circuit is 2.7km long, with a climb of 135m. It will take around 2 hours.

If you want to do both walks, bring your own picnic!
We recommend that you bring good walking shoes, plenty of water and protection from the sun.

Nordic Trail Initiation, proposed by the Gymnastic association of Moustiers
Discover the Les Claux trail on a Nordic walking tour. This short, technical introduction takes you along a path that offers lovely views over the village!

In the village
The Timbawà batucada, from the association Les Bateleuses de Valensole, will be strolling through the village to get you moving to the rhythm of the day!

There will be a creative workshop for children in the Place Montelupo (next to the Wooden Games).
The schoolchildren of Moustiers present large silhouettes representing sports and ‘Olympic rings’ with the children's hands, created during school time.
Schoolchildren from Riez will be on hand to perform the Dance of the Games!
