Detailed description
What the press had to say:
His atypical voice, his visceral taste for stories, the baroque flamboyance of his music, the technical rigour of his songs, their emotional power and the way he embodies them on stage, all make Jérémie Bossone a UFO in the French chanson landscape.
After winning numerous awards (Grand Prix de la Chanson Vive la Reprise, Prix Sacem, Prix Adami, Pic d'Or, ...), Bossone released his 1st album ‘Gloires’ in 2015 produced by Ian Caple (Alain Bashung, Stevie Wonder, Tricky, ...) which received the Coup de Cœur de l'Académie du Disque Charles Cros. The same award was given to him for his new album ‘Les mélancolies pirates’.
The press described Jérémie Bossone as ‘the missing link between Brel and Noir Désir’, the ‘fusion between Rimbaud and Dylan’. Bossone comments: ‘Not bad but reductive’.
In fact, his constant desire to renew his forms has led him to explore various artistic avenues. Alongside his singing career, he is also involved in the rap/rock project Kapuche. He is also the director of the web series KAPUCHE and the author of a novel, Crimson Glory, published by Lamao.
