Detailed description
On Thursday 17 July 2025 from 10am to 6pm, the famous Escoulen woodturning school in Aiguines (83) will be offering a woodturning demonstration to mark the summer, inviting young and old alike to discover the magic of the craft.
L'Ecole Escoulen:
After a traditional apprenticeship in woodturning, Jean-François Escoulen turned to creating unique pieces. His mastery of fine and eccentric turning led him to share his knowledge around the world. In 2010, building on this experience and their national and international reputation, Jean-François & Monique Escoulen worked, at the request of the municipality of Aiguines (83), to create the woodturning school that will bear their name. With almost 50 training courses a year, the school is able to meet all requirements. Each training session takes place in a workshop equipped with top-level professional equipment, with a complete set of tools for each trainee. Sessions are limited to 6 trainees per instructor. The turning school is housed in a 1200 m² building, a former holiday camp acquired in 2004.
