Valensole, Provence, Summer 65.
At dawn, farmer Maurice Masse discovers a mysterious craft in his lavender field, taking off at astonishing speed and leaving trails on the ground.
The news drew crowds and put Maurice in the spotlight.
Faced with this sudden and unwanted notoriety, he tries to protect his family and cope.
His life, that of his family and that of this small village are about to be turned upside down.
Based on a true story.
