Detailed description
It was on the Australian roads that Elsa Mazeran and Simon Depys realized, after several years of living together, that they were made to create a group together.
In 2016, barely back from this trip to the land of kangaroos, this couple "lived on stage" decided to continue the adventure of the acoustic duo "Idylum" at home, in France.
This ambitious project combines, against all odds, the respective worlds of our two protagonists that everything seems to oppose. One comes from the French song with text, passionate about polyphony and vocal music while the other has been navigating for many years in a universe of unleashed rock guitarist with progressive zappaian bursts.
The sound of Idylum mixes a soft and subtle voice with a very percussive and nervous guitar.
They evolve in a Pop/Soul acoustic universe, sometimes sung in French, sometimes in English, without forgetting an instrumental part with two guitars which reminds us of a certain "Rodrigo and Gabriela".
In concert, Idylum never misses an opportunity to reclaim some key titles of his idols (Stevie Wonder, Queen, ...).
