La Cadeno is a leisure base located on one of the most beautiful sites of the Sainte-Croix Lake. On one of the biggest lake of France, hidden from the Galetas Bridge and the entrance of the Verdon Gorges, it is a little paradise. In a family and friendly atmosphere, La Cadeno will know how to transport you by the activities it offers or just relax in the sun, thanks to the rental of deckchairs.
How to get there ?
The place is hidden and sometimes, one does not dare to venture on this gravel track... The Base is located on the D957 road, in direction of the Sainte-Croix Lake. After having passed Le Moulin campsite and St Saturnin domain, a track will go down on your right. You can't miss it, signs are there to show you the way. On the other hand, if you come from the Var side, in the direction of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, La Cadeno is located 1.5km after Galetas Bridge on your left. A sign will show you the way.
Take the gravel track that goes down, after a few turns, you're there, La Cadeno is waiting for you. Beaware : A height restriction barrier will not allow a vehicle taller than 1.90m to enter.
La Cadeno : a peaceful place
You can enjoy pedal boats for 2 to 5 people, paddles, canoes or single or double kayaks. A restoration space also proposes you cold drinks, ice creams, salted or sweetened pancakes as well as granitas. As for the facilities on the beach, you can rent deckchairs and umbrellas for absolute comfort by the lake. Or just lay down your towel on the beach and enjoy the sun of Provence. It's easy to find a quiet and shady space in this beautiful place, where the color of the water manages to transport us to the Caribbean.
