Detailed description
The process of making ice-cream has always fascinated Marion. After completing her studies in hotel management and catering, she decided to qualify as an ice-cream maker and consequently set up a parlour in Moustiers from which she could make and sell all of her own ice-cream.
Ice-creams, sorbets, ice-cream cones and ice-lollies, they are all home-made. Marion gets real pleasure out of creating and testing new recipes, inventing new flavours and new combinations. For example, ‘caramelised Valensole almond and vanilla ice-cream’ or even ‘Moustiers lavender honey’ flavour.
Marion takes pride in sourcing increasing numbers of products locally for her recipes such as: seasonal fruit, milk from the Alpes de Haute Provence, honey from Moustiers, almonds and, most recently, flour from Malijai, also from the Alpes de Haute Provence.
You can find Marion’s ice-cream parlour at the foot of Moustiers’s suspended golden star… a trip into ice-cream paradise.
