Detailed description

With the support of the Town Hall of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, the Tourist Office and a working committee represented by Anne-Marie Blanchard, Sylvie Alès, and Aurélie Barroo-Micheletta*, a 20th artist from Diverse and varied backgrounds come together to offer you a real artistic journey.

This exhibition will embrace various forms of contemporary art displayed in the streets of the village, including monumental creations.
"Les Rencontres de Sculptures Monumentales" aims to bring the best of contemporary art to the Moustieres region. What could be more logical in a village with many labels such as that of "city and crafts" and which is recognized worldwide for its ancestral art: Earthenware.
In total harmony with the architecture of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, you will witness a real dialogue between the works, the stone and the surrounding nature.

This exhibition will allow you to discover, or rediscover, the works of artists under a light that changes with the seasons. An excellent way to introduce the little ones to Contemporary Art, while strolling through the village (with an ice cream in hand).

In addition to all the sports activities that it is possible to do around Moustiers, our village wants to be an essential center of Culture. This ambitious project will offer all our visitors an unforgettable cultural experience, engraved in their memory. Culture in free access, we badly need it...
