Shamrock means shamrock in Irish (from the Gaelic Seamróg).
It's the emblem of this green country, with its friendly people.
The group Sham'Rock interprets the traditional tunes of this Celtic land in its own way.
In 2011, John Walsh, a Dublin-born singer based in Provence, decided to bring together local musicians to put together a repertoire of covers of traditional songs from his homeland, adding folk and rock tracks to create an original show.
The band includes :
John on vocals,
Patrick on bass and vocals,
Sylvie on violin,
Yannick on accordion,
Didier on guitar and vocals
and Christophe on drums.
Together, they invite you on a little trip to Ireland, to discover the charm of their music, which combines poetry, Celtic melodies and festive energy.
